About Pipe Mania
Pipe Mania (also known as Pipe Dream) is a classic puzzle game originally developed by The Assembly Line in 1989. The game has players arranging sections of pipe on a grid to allow fluid to flow from one point to another.
In this version, you rotate pre-placed pipe segments to form a continuous connection. The challenge lies in figuring out which pipes need to be rotated and by how much to create a complete path.
The game became so popular that it was ported to numerous platforms and inspired many variations, including the famous Windows game "Pipe Dream" and various mobile versions.
How to Play Pipe Mania
Find the Start and End
Locate the green start point and red end point on the grid.
Rotate the Pipes
Click on pipe segments to rotate them 90 degrees. Plan which direction each pipe should face.
Verify Connection
Once you think all pipes are connected, click "Check Connection" to win!
Tips & Strategies
- •Start from both ends and work toward the middle
- •Straight pipes are easier to align than corner pieces
- •Visualize the path before rotating pipes
- •Sometimes fewer pipes in the path is better
