Snakes and Ladders is a classic board game originating from ancient India, known there as Moksha Patam. Players race to reach square 100 by rolling dice and moving their token. Landing on a ladder lets you climb up to a higher square, while landing on a snake's head sends you sliding down to a lower square.
Roll the dice by clicking the 'Roll Dice' button. Your token automatically moves the number of spaces shown on the dice. If you land at the bottom of a ladder, you climb up. If you land on a snake's head, you slide down to its tail. First player to reach exactly square 100 wins!
Yes! To win, you must land exactly on square 100. If your dice roll would take you past 100, you 'bounce back' the extra spaces. For example, if you're on square 98 and roll a 5, you'd move to 100 then bounce back to 97.
