Frequently Asked Questions
How do you play Tetris?
Use arrow keys to move pieces left/right, up arrow to rotate, down arrow for soft drop, and space for hard drop. Clear lines by filling them completely with blocks.
What is the hold feature?
Press C or Shift to save your current piece for later. You can swap it with the held piece once per turn. Great for saving I-pieces for Tetrises!
How do levels work?
Every 10 lines cleared advances you one level. Higher levels make pieces fall faster but score more points per line cleared.
What is a Tetris?
Clearing 4 lines at once with an I-piece is called a Tetris. It scores 800 points times your level - the highest single clear possible!
