Professional tools for deleting PDF pages
Why Use Remove PDF Pages?
Visual Page Selection
See thumbnail previews of every page in your PDF. Click directly on the pages you want to remove - no need to remember page numbers or type ranges. Selected pages are highlighted in red for easy identification.
Flexible Selection Methods
Choose between click-to-select mode for visual selection, or range mode for quick entry of page numbers (e.g., 1,3,5-10). Quick actions let you select all, clear selection, or invert your selection instantly.
Protect Privacy
Remove pages containing confidential information before sharing documents. Delete personal data, internal notes, salary figures, or any sensitive content that shouldn't be distributed externally.
100% Browser-Based
All processing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your PDF never leaves your device - nothing is uploaded to any server. When you close the tab, all data is permanently erased.
Common Page Removal Scenarios
When you need to delete PDF pages
Remove Blank Pages
Scanned documents often include blank pages. Use the thumbnail view to spot blank pages instantly and remove them with a click.
Delete Cover Pages
Remove cover pages, title pages, or table of contents when you only need the main content. Create focused documents without introductory material.
Remove Confidential Pages
Delete pages with sensitive information before sharing externally. Remove salary pages, personal details, internal notes, or any confidential content.
Clean Up Scanned Documents
Remove duplicate pages, scanning errors, or accidentally included documents. Clean up multi-page scans by visually identifying and deleting unwanted pages.
How It Works
Upload Your PDF
Drag and drop your PDF file or click to browse. The tool loads your document and generates thumbnail previews of every page for easy visual selection.
Select Pages to Remove
Click on page thumbnails to mark them for removal - selected pages show a red overlay. Alternatively, switch to range mode and enter page numbers like 1,3,5-10. Use quick actions to select all, clear, or invert your selection.
Review Your Selection
Check the warning banner showing how many pages will be removed. Selected pages appear with red highlighting and a trash icon. Make sure you're deleting the right pages - this cannot be undone.
Remove & Download
Click Remove Pages to process your document. The selected pages are permanently deleted, and you can download your cleaned-up PDF immediately. Original quality of remaining pages is preserved.
Tips for Page Removal
Use Invert for Keeping Few Pages
When you want to keep only a few pages from a large PDF, select the pages to KEEP, then click Invert. This is faster than selecting many pages to remove.
Always Keep a Backup
Page removal is permanent and cannot be undone. Always keep a copy of your original PDF before removing pages in case you need those pages later.
Check Thumbnails Carefully
Use the thumbnail view to visually verify which pages you're removing. Look for blank pages, duplicate content, or pages with sensitive information.
Range Syntax
In range mode, use commas for individual pages (1,3,5) and hyphens for ranges (1-5). Combine them: 1-3,10,15-20 removes pages 1-3, page 10, and pages 15-20.
